LaVonne Foster was born on January 10, 1920 to Dewey and Ethelyn DuPuis in Walthill, Nebraska. LaVonne married Victor C. Foster in 1938. The couple moved to Portland in 1953. They were members of N.E. Baptist Church and later Montavilla Baptist Church for many years.
LaVonne is survived by her sons Jan, Richard and James Foster and daughters Vicki Egelston and Cindy Foster. She is also survived by grandchildren Dirk, Deana, Debbie, Gina, Rachel & Dustin Foster, Victor Foster II, Carley Shaut, Taylor Sawatzki.
